What’s been happening:

Upon graduation from Penn State (and Air Force ROTC) with a degree in Civil Engineering, I served four (4) years active duty with the U.S. Air Force, including one (1) year in Vietnam. I maintained my officer commission by joining the U.S. Air Force Reserve and retired in 1992 with 28 years service in many overseas assignments including a Squadron Commander during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. I served as the Base Engineer at a forward base in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm overseeing all base engineering and facilities operations. I retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel and maintain contact with many members of my unit. Upon leaving active duty in 1968, I joined the IBM Corporation as a facilities engineer and enjoyed a 29-year career involved in the Corporation's facilities management and construction requirements at their locations in Rochester, Minnesota and Boca Raton, Florida. My responsibilities included supervising the construction of over $120 million of administrative, development and manufacturing buildings. I have been a Registered Professional Engineer (Florida) since 1972. In 2003, I started RSM Construction Management, Inc. and currently operate this company for clients in the south Florida area. My wife, Georgia, and I were married in 1965 and have three children (Richard, Shannon and Marc - RSM!) and two granddaughters (Amber and Ashli).
